The claim that COVID-19 vaccines implant a microchip to track recipients is circulating again in chat groups. The claim is false and has been repeatedly debunked since 2021.

What we checked

A viral post shows a photo of a small circuit board claimed to be "found inside a vaccine." We traced the published vaccine composition and the origin of that image.

The evidence

The composition of every approved vaccine is published officially and consists of biological material and stabilizers — no electronic components. Technically, a standard needle's bore is far smaller than any functional microchip, so one could not pass through without clogging the needle.

The image used in the viral post is a common electronic part unrelated to vaccines.

Conclusion

There is no microchip in COVID-19 vaccines. The claim is false.
